The Reversing Falls Jet Boat Ride is an adventure you won’t want to miss! This guided excursion begins with an highlights tour of Saint John. Stop to explore the Old City Market, where you will delight in the vibrant sights and sounds and chat with the locals. See the Carleton Martello Tower, one of sixteen constructed in Canada during the early years of the nineteenth century, and one of the few remaining. View the port of Saint John against the beauty of the Bay of Fundy from Fort Howe lookout. And as your guide takes you past prominent landmarks and historic buildings, you’ll be introduced to many fascinating personalities and events that occurred to make Saint John the greatest little city in the east! Then arrive at Fallsview Park and get ready for a light lunch– Lobster roll, in the pic nic area and a thrilling experience ... a jet boat ride through the famous Reversing Falls! At the Reversing Falls Rapids, the mighty Bay of Fundy causes the St. John River to reverse direction and flow upstream. You’ll jet through the rapids for a thrilling 20 minute ride, and get an excellent view of the powerful whirlpools swirling about and waves towering. You will be provided with raingear in preparation for this fabulous adventure, but even with it, you will get wet from the waves and the sprays.
